Community Action Committee

Our goal is to focus on current events and make our voices heard concerning these events. We will develop strategies to get like-minded candidates elected. We will also work to publicize our meetings, message, and special events through the Internet, printed material, and other sources of media.

• Help our members become aware of current local, state, and national issues (through our website and weekly publications).

• Find ways to help our group have our voices heard through the Internet, radio, newspapers, printed material, and other sources of media.

• Provide publicity to inform individuals in our community concerning current issues, our representatives’ views on these events, and how to voice concern or agreement with issues.

• Develop strategies to get like-minded candidates elected.

• Work towards term limits.

• Instruct members how to get elected to be a delegate to their party's county or state nominating convention. (We would like to see as many 9/12 members serving as delegates before the next election as possible.)

• Plan 9/12 related events for our group members that will have an impact on a local, state, or national level.
